The Center for Mexican American Studies at the University of Texas in Arlington administers an 18-hour academic minor in Mexican American & Latina/o Studies. CMAS promotes research and the recruitment, retention and professional development of UTA faculty actively engage in studies on Latino studies and they serve as a bridge between UTA and the Latino community in DFW.
